In his interview with City & Country, Jennifer revealed that her birthday had snowballed into a big wedding-level celebration. “I basically had a wedding for me,” she told the publication, which interviewed her about her startup Once Upon a Farm and her charity work with Save the Children. “I was so shocked that I did.” She invited her family and it ended up being a big party where they packed over 5,000 backpacks full of meals for families of four for the Blessings in a Backpack program. “I put everybody to work,” she said, and they all danced to “Rocky Top” by the Osborne Brothers.

Jen also addressed her “nice” girl image in the interview. “I have no reason not to be nice. My life is good,” she said. “I’m not always just nice. I can also be salty, and I can be taciturn, or I can to be really serious about what I want to do. It’s not that I feel like I’m being underestimated in that way – I’m not afraid to stand up for myself and say, “Just so you know, that’s not going to fly with me.” When that happens, I don’t want you to be shocked that I’m a real person.
