Indiana State Police have identified the boy who was found dead months ago in a suitcase and named his mother as his suspected killer. The body of Cairo Jordan, of Atlanta, was found in the woods of Washington County on April 16 by a resident. He was never reported missing. Police say his mother, Dejaune Anderson, 37, is charged with his murder and is currently on the run. She is also charged with neglect of a dependent resulting in death and obstruction of justice. Anderson was last seen in the Echo Park area of Calif., Sgt. said Carey Huls. Another woman is also facing charges but is in custody: Dawn Coleman, 40, of Shreveport, Louisiana. She faces the same charges as Anderson, minus murder. She was arrested Tuesday night in San Francisco. Police said the two suspects were ‘not physically related to each other’. According to the autopsy, Cairo died of electrolyte imbalance caused by a severe stomach bug. According to one quote, Anderson was arrested in Louisville for robbery in March, just weeks before Cairo was found dead. She was released on bail but never returned to court for her preliminary hearing. Days before that arrest, she was taken into custody in South Carolina after leading police on a chase reaching 92 mph in a 60 mph zone.
