Lucky for you Cagesiders, our team of wrestling enthusiasts are here to help you figure out how the event is going to pan out with predictions for every match on the card.
Let’s cut to the chase.
WWE CROWN JEWEL PREDICTIONS
WWE Universal Championship: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Logan Paul
Geno Mrosko: There is a negative percentage chance that Logan Paul wins this game. There is simply no world that exists where he can win here. Choose: Roman Reigns
Sean Rueter: Watching the world burn doesn’t look much worse than what we’re watching now, but I still don’t think WWE will go down the shock route here. Choose: Roman Reigns
Kyle Decker: Man, can you imagine? Choose: Roman Reigns
Claire Elizabeth:Credit where credit is due, Logan showed real aptitude, and WWE likes to chase an outside star, but there’s no way in Satan’s hell he’s winning that. I would rather have David Arquette, frankly. Choose: Roman Reigns
Cain A. Knight: Logan Paul will land that lucky shot, but it still won’t be good enough to stop Roman from crushing him. Choose: Roman Reigns
Marcus Benjamin: Why does WWE even force us to do things like this? Cain is more than likely right: Logan lands a lucky punch but it’s just not enough to bring down a god. Choose: Roman Reigns
Raw Women’s Championship Last Woman Standing: Bianca Belair (c) vs. Bayley
Geno Mrosko: It feels like Bayley could win the title at various times, but that’s no longer the case. Pick: Bianca Belair
Sean Rueter: If they were going to pull the trigger, it would have happened by now. Pick: Bianca Belair
Kyle Decker: We’re at the point in this feud where they either have to make the switch or move on. With a lack of solid heels to step into Bianca if she wins here, I’m going to say she doesn’t, but I’m definitely not confident about that. Choose: Bayley
Claire Elizabeth: Yeah I don’t see it, especially after Damage CTRL lost the tag titles. They’re just not meant to be a particularly dominant heel stable, and Bayley may very well switch to, uh… I don’t know… Pick: Bianca Belair
Cain A. Knight: Bianca Belair is here along with Roman Reigns as the most booked stars on the WWE roster for the past two years. I think they will save her eventual title loss for Charlotte Flair or Ronda Rousey. Pick: Bianca Belair
Marcus Benjamin: They do not change the title abroad. Not this one anyway. Too bad CNTRL can win something here but not this title. Pick: Bianca Belair
Tag Team Championship: The Usos (c) vs. Ridge Holland & BUTCH
Geno Mrosko: No reason to think they’re going to make a title change here. Choose: The Usos
Sean Rueter: FIGHT NIGHT is a regional holiday, I don’t think they celebrate it in Saudi Arabia. Choose: The Usos
Kyle Decker: Even though Jey Uso still isn’t at Ucey Spades, they should be able to handle the Brutes here. Choose: The Usos
Claire Elizabeth:The Bloodline is so, so awesome right now, don’t spoil it for anything less than Sami Uso taking the tag titles. Choose: The Usos
Cain A. Knight: The Usos can’t become the oldest reigning Tag Team Champions in WWE history if they lose the belts here. Choose: The Usos
Marcus Benjamin: Time to go get Ucey. Choose: The Usos
Tag Team Championship: Alexa Bliss & Asuka (c) vs. Damage CTRL
Geno Mrosko:I could 100% see them flipping the titles, if only to make sure there was a title change in the series. Choose: Damage CTRL
Sean Rueter: Just because something interesting should happen on this show, let’s say they flip the belts over to Kai & SKY en route to a feud between the current champions. Choose: Damage CTRL
Kyle Decker:It would be a bit odd to hotshot titles like this, but it certainly wouldn’t make the belts any weaker if they did and might inject some excitement. It’s very possible that CTRL will get those belts back soon. That said, I don’t see the change happening within six days of Alexa and Asuka winning. Choose: Alexa Bliss and Asuka
Claire Elizabeth:They got a little better at making these shows important, but they still feel a lot like glorified house shows and I think you earn the babyface, maybe with a little drama to warrant another rematch in a week or two. Choose: Alexa Bliss and Asuka
Cain A. Knight: I think Damage CTRL is empty in Saudi Arabia. Choose: Asuka and Alexa Bliss
Marcus Benjamin: I choose Damage CNTRL here. Kai-N-SKY recovers the belts after losing them Raw, and leave Saudi Arabia with at least one victory under their belt. Well, their new belts. Choose: CNTRL Damage
Steel Cage: Drew McIntyre vs. Karrion Kross
Geno Mrosko: This is WWE, and even under Triple H, the heel isn’t going to win in the end…right? Pick: Drew McIntyre
Sean Rueter:While they might put her in a KSA-approved bodysuit, I’m guessing Scarlett isn’t making the trip. They can result in Kross losing by not having his better half in his corner. Pick: Drew McIntyre
Kyle Decker: The plan must be to keep building Kross. Drew is in a good place where he is pretty good. Karrion is not there yet. He needs to keep winning until the fans buy more. Pick: Karrion Kross
Claire Elizabeth: On some level, all I want in life is for Drew to reuse the finish from his steel cage match against Roderick Strong at Evolve 38. Trapped between the cage and the ring as Roddy pounded him kick after kick until he passed out. .. shiny stuff. Pick: Karrion Kross
Cain A. Knight: I feel like Kross needs a lot more help to recover, so I think he still beats McIntyre. And he probably should, considering Karrion was the victim of that weird car crash angle. Pick: Karrion Kross
Marcus Benjamin: It’s really a corner flip for me. Drew can take a loss at this point in his career, so passing Kross makes the most sense. But, Drew is Drew. Pick: Karrion Kross
Brock Lesnar vs. Bobby Lashley
Geno Mrosko: This is where Brock collects his victory to prepare for the big PPV shows that will start in 2023. Pick: Brock Lesnar
Sean Rueter: He did the job for Roman twice this year. I love you Bob, but you’re not Roman. Pick: Brock Lesnar
Kyle Decker: Get out on a branch here and go with Bobby to get the win. He feels like he needs help after Brock fucks him. It will be interesting in general to see if Brock’s booking changes at all without Vince at the helm. Probably not and I’m probably wrong, but I’m sticking to it. Pick: Bobby Lashley
Claire Elizabeth: Brock is Brock, Brock is bulletproof, gotta give my boy Franklin Roberto Lashley a big win he can ride on for about five years. Pick: Bobby Lashley
Cain A. Knight: Brock Lesnar is on a two-game losing streak. He does not lose a third of it. Pick: Brock Lesnar
Marcus Benjamin: Brock is not coming back to lose. Unless it’s for Roman. And he certainly isn’t going overseas to lose. Choice: Brock Lesnar.
Braun Strowman v Omos
Geno Mrosko: It seems obvious that they see more in Strowman and this game will probably give us the answer to that. Pick: Braun Strowman
Sean Rueter: As long as the meat is slapped, who really cares? Choose: Omos
Kyle Decker:One of these guys was brought back to WWE for a reason and that person is not Omos. Pick: Braun Strowman
Claire Elizabeth: No contest when Timmy puts his figurines down because his mom called him to the kitchen for lunch? Nope ? You don’t buy it? Omos had a great run but it’s much closer to the end than the start. Pick: Braun Strowman
Cain A. Knight: This is Strowman’s first major match in WWE since his return, so he’s not losing. Braun’s presence on the WWE roster makes Omos obsolete, and that’s why Omos is here to put Braun down before he fades into obscurity. Pick: Braun Strowman
Marcus Benjamin: Sigh. Pick: Braun Strowman
The OC vs Judgment Day
Geno Mrosko: So who’s going to be Rhea Ripley’s Neutralizer? Choose: OC
Sean Rueter: Another win for the bad guys, setting the stage for Raquel or Beth or whoever to handle Rhea’s problem at WarGames. Choose: Judgment Day
Kyle Decker: The OC should win this game since it is being reinstated. But Triple H seems to like Judgment Day. I also believe that whoever chooses to neutralize Rhea will return to the United States. Choose: Judgment Day
Claire Elizabeth: House show rules, baby, Finn Balor is gonna slip on a banana peel and the good brothers are gonna have that one-two-three ski. PS – where the hell is my Omen in the Sky, for God’s sake? Choose: OC
Cain A. Knight: This will be the night that AJ Styles and his buddies find a way to incapacitate Rhea Ripley long enough to claim victory. Choose: OC
Marcus Benjamin: This is the game I’m looking forward to the most. Specifically, how Team California incapacitates Rhea Ripley. Choose: OC
This is how we see the card playing out.
