Police said the other crime scene was a few minutes away on Chestnut Oak Road. A witness in that area told 11 News he called 911 after hearing multiple gunshots.

“I heard what I thought were two or three shots and they weren’t firecrackers, and it was really loud and I was inside, and I heard three more shots “said James Pisano. “I knew it was definitely gunshots. There was no doubt that it was the loudest gunshots I have ever heard.”

Pisano said the shooting was unfortunate and made him feel uncomfortable, and that he had heard gunshots in his neighborhood before.

The shooting prompted several schools in Towson/Parkville to go into lockdown. A lockdown status means outside access to schools is restricted.
